FAQ: FAQ

Your first treatment.

Before your first treatment you will receive a form that you will need to complete and return to me. This asks for basic personal information and details of your health history.

Your first session will be half an hour longer than the usual hour, in order for us to thoroughly discuss your health, past and present, and  to ensure your treatment is tailored to your needs.

Please wear soft, comfortable clothes that allow access to your feet, ankles and calf. Try to drink plenty of water leading up to your session.

You will be seated in a reclining chair or in a chair in your home with a reflexology stool in front of it.

You will then receive a one hour reflexology treatment with massage techniques at the beginning and end .

What happens after your treatment

At the end of the session, you will be left to relax or sleep for a short while while notes are made of the reflex findings of the treatment.

In order to benefit fully from the treatment, it is recommended that you use the time afterwards to relax and allow the healing processes to take place.

You will feel tired.

You may need to go to the bathroom more frequently and this is a positive response to the body cleansing itself.

If you have a cold or have sinus problems you may find you have a very runny nose for a while.

Pre existing symptoms may get worse for a few days but this is normal and they will subside.

You must continue to drink plenty of water after your treatment.

Keep a note of improvements or changes to your health and wellbeing and let me know at your next session.
